As a Principal in the Not-for-Profit Practice Group, Grant provides audit, accounting, and advisory services to a variety of not-for-profit industries, including education, foundations, and social services. Grant also provides compliance audits in accordance with the Single Audit Act (Uniform Guidance) and Maine Uniform Accounting and Auditing Practices for Community Agencies Act (MAAP).
As part of his work with not-for-profits, Grant assists his clients with best practices relative to internal controls, segregation of duties, and mitigating related risks for organizations with small finance teams. Grant is also involved in internal and external training to help keep his teams and clients up-to-date with accounting and compliance regulations.
