Forbes calls out BerryDunn as one of America's Best Tax and Accounting Firms

BerryDunn has again been recognized on the annual list of Forbes America’s Best Tax and Accounting Firms 2022. In a market research study, Forbes identifies the “most recommended” firms by peers in the industry. As the largest public accounting firm headquartered in New England, BerryDunn is consistently recognized as one of the top firms in the country.

Forbes interviewed BerryDunn CEO Sarah Belliveau for the article about what business leaders want in a tax and accounting firm. “To really thrive, corporations need to be resilient and agile. They’re looking for the same thing with their professional services partners,” says Belliveau.

In this challenging business climate, the list recognizes that BerryDunn’s tax experts have excelled at helping clients deal with uncertainty and changing provisions that can make tax planning difficult. According to Dave Erb, Tax Principal, “Our team continues to help each client find what works for them in an ever-evolving tax landscape, not only for today, but to also prepare them for future success. Regardless of the industry, our team stays current on the changing regulations and works with clients to build a strong foundation for growth.”

In recent years, the firm has strengthened its tax expertise in renewable energy to help serve an increasing number of renewable energy companies as they continue a period of robust growth. Erb continues, “Our focus on renewable energy and economic development incentives is great for our clients. Current proposals include investment tax credits for renewable and alternative energy property and for production of certain alternative fuels, business and consumer focused incentives for energy efficient buildings, incentives to promote alternative fuel vehicles for consumer and commercial use, and credits to develop a green workforce.”

The firm’s tax team helps clients across industries that include construction, real estate, manufacturing, financial services, healthcare, and renewable energy, among others.

About the list
