10.01.25

BerryDunn announced that Tammy Brunetti will join the Executive Leadership Team and lead Assurance, Tax, and Advisory Services. She succeeds BerryDunn Principal Renee Bishop, who is preparing for retirement after previously serving in the role.

Brunetti’s career at BerryDunn has spanned 30 years, focusing on helping healthcare organizations navigate regulatory requirements and operational challenges. Most recently serving as the leader of the firm’s Healthcare Practice Group, Brunetti also has extensive leadership experience and a strong background in audit, accounting, and advisory services.

“I am energized by the opportunity to drive strategic innovation that delivers real value for our clients,” said Brunetti. “BerryDunn stands out for its dedication to quality, collaboration, and people, and I am committed to fostering a culture of continuous improvement across the team.” Commenting on the rapidly evolving landscape, Brunetti said, “Our entrepreneurial, client-focused approach allows us to adapt quickly and position ourselves to best support clients with evolving needs, technological advancements, and workforce challenges.”

As Chief Strategy and Growth Officer, Brunetti steps into the role previously held by Renee Bishop, who was instrumental in shaping the firm’s strategic growth and ensuring BerryDunn stayed grounded in its strong relationships with clients, employees, and communities. Bishop joined BerryDunn in 1993 and previously served as the firm’s Healthcare and Not-for-Profit Practice Group Leader and as a member of the Board.

“Renee shared her passion for the accounting profession with the firm and brought an unmatched level of professionalism and depth of expertise to the Assurance, Tax, and Advisory Team,” said Sarah Belliveau, BerryDunn CEO. “I’m deeply appreciative of Renee and our talented Executive Leadership Team. With Tammy stepping in as Chief Strategy and Growth Officer, I’m confident we will see continued steady growth and innovation in the years ahead.”

Belliveau also announced transitions to BerryDunn’s Board of Directors, including new members of the executive committee: Kathy Parker, the new Board Chair; Seth Webber, Secretary; Dave Erb, Treasurer; and Kate Lawrence, Assistant Secretary. Retiring board members Tammy Michaud, former Board Chair, and Charlie Leadbetter were also recognized for their two terms of meaningful service.
