Melissa is a Senior Manager in BerryDunn’s Healthcare Practice Group, responsible for oversight of governmental healthcare program reimbursement, such as Medicare and Medicaid cost reports preparation and review, benchmarking, and reimbursement consulting.
Melissa strives to cultivate client relationships that include one-on-one interaction and constant communication, allowing her to offer solutions and suggestions based on best practices she has observed in the industry. She serves as a trusted advisor and provides thought leadership on issues related to third-party reimbursement and finance, like certificates of need, feasibility studies, and other matters. Melissa is involved with the preparation and updates to the Senior Living group’s interactive Medicare Prospective Payment System (PPS) rate calculator and Senior Living Benchmarking Portal.
