BerryDunn is proud to announce that Senior Tax Specialist Allison Robbins was honored as a “Rising Star” by the Maine Society of CPAs (MECPA) during its annual meeting on May 12, 2026. The MECPA Rising Star Award recognizes an individual who both demonstrates technical excellence early in their career and also represents the future of the CPA profession through leadership, integrity, and service.
“Allison Robbins doesn’t shy away from challenges,” said Sno Barry, a Principal in BerryDunn’s Commercial Practice Group. “What sets her apart is the clarity she brings to complexity, how she balances technical skill with sound judgment, and the way she approaches her work with a level of engagement and responsibility well beyond what is expected at this stage of her career. She is indeed a ‘Rising Star’ whose contributions today point to leadership tomorrow.”
Robbins completed her first tax internship at BerryDunn while a student at the University of Maine and has continued to pursue tax-focused roles ever since. After graduating in 2024, she joined BerryDunn and quickly developed strong technical expertise in complex tax matters, earning the trust of colleagues and leaders alike. She plays an important role supporting the firm’s internship and on-campus recruiting efforts, serving as a resource and mentor to students who are just beginning their own accounting careers.
Beyond her professional responsibilities, Robbins is already giving back to her community, serving on the finance committee of Down East Family YMCA, where she contributes her time and expertise.
“I am so honored to receive this recognition from MECPA,” said Robbins. “I believe our profession carries with it a responsibility not only to our clients, but also to the communities we serve. As a member of the BerryDunn team, I’m grateful to be able to support a mission-driven organization like my local YMCA that strengthens families and communities in Maine.”
