Markes is a seasoned executive in BerryDunn’s Healthcare Practice Group. His broad healthcare finance and operations experience demonstrates depth and expertise in strategy, analysis, modeling, reporting, business development, and entrepreneurial ventures.
Markes is a Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives, and a greenbelt in Lean Six Sigma. He has held diverse leadership positions within healthcare delivery, both in academic medicine and physician groups. He has also had the privilege of serving on a multitude of boards over the past 15 years for both non-profits and co-operatives.
He is experienced in not-for-profit leadership and strategy in healthcare, ministry, and civic arenas. Markes champions a relational leadership and communication style, and is passionate about collegiality, integrity, building consensus, and learning from one another.
