Matt is a Strategic Services Director and Senior Health Economist in BerryDunn's Health Analytics Practice Group. He has more than 17 years of experience working with government agencies and payers in the U.S. and globally. He advises clients on healthcare financing policies that expand affordable coverage equitably and efficiently. Matt's work spans Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance, giving him a system-wide lens on healthcare reform. At BerryDunn, he serves as a senior strategic and economic advisor, guiding clients in the design and implementation of payment transformation initiatives. Matt also leads healthcare market oversight and transaction engagements, where he synthesizes complex quantitative evidence and oversees analytic teams to evaluate and forecast the impact of market changes on prices, coverage, and spending.
In Matt's previous roles, he conducted independent evaluations of Medicare (CMS/CMMI) payment demonstrations, led cost-benchmarking analyses for state agencies, and evaluated Medicaid managed care programs. He also managed a team that supported governments across Asia in their pursuit of universal health coverage through innovative health insurance and payment reforms.
