Nicola is a reimbursement consultant in BerryDunn’s Healthcare Practice Group. She has over 10 years of cost report experience, both as an auditor for Medicare Administrative Contractors and as a Manager of Reimbursement for a health system.
Nicola is passionate about serving clients in the healthcare industry. She supports clients with guidance on Medicare cost reports, including bad debts, wage index, DSH, IME/GME, organ transplant and acquisition, and cost-based providers.
Nicola’s experience includes internal audit, reimbursement, and revenue cycle compliance-oriented projects. She has served as the liaison for client Medicare and TRICARE audit requests. She was responsible for providing training to the internal audit team, data analysis, risk assessment, and policy and procedure development.
