She has over 40 years of experience in the field, serving as the Director of the Boulder, Colorado Parks and Recreation Department and as a business owner and consultant. Championing a mission-based approach, Chris offers expert advice in building strong relationships with teams, policy makers, and citizens. She is passionate about the industry, serving in leadership, speaking, and faculty positions for a variety of not-for-profits and foundations. She was inducted into the American Academy for Parks and Recreation Administration in 2004, providing her with the opportunity to advance the profession and give back to it.
