“Some say if you want success surround yourself with successful people. I say if you want true and lasting success surround yourself with people of integrity.”

-Charles F. Glassman

An auditor and a strong role model for kids

“I work with many different types of healthcare and not-for-profit organizations, many of which receive significant amounts of federal funding and are required to have Yellow Book and OMB Uniform Guidance (A-133) audits conducted. I also review college and university compliance with regulations set by the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA).”

As a Senior Manager in BerryDunn’s Healthcare and Not-for-Profit Practice Groups, Ryan dedicates his time to serving a wide range of not-for-profit organizations across the Northeast. These include, but are not limited to, higher education institutions, hospitals, long-term care facilities, and behavioral and mental health agencies. Ryan is the firm’s technical resource for federal compliance auditing of the student financial aid cluster.

This depth of professional exposure enables Ryan to analyze organizational operations across the sector, readily identify issues, and suggest best practices. This experience has also given Ryan a deep innate respect for the unique goals and cultures of all types of not-for-profit organizations. As a result, Ryan is devoted to building strong relationships in order to provide these organizations with customized solutions—and to reducing the strains of compliance and regulations, so that his clients can focus on achieving their core missions.
