Mike is the leader of the firm's Commercial Practice Group and partners with commercial companies, including manufacturing and high-technology businesses. His experience in owning, operating, and selling two successful businesses gives him unique insight into helping his clients with a wide variety of issues, including financial reporting, merger and acquisition structuring, internal controls and systems development, and strategic planning services. At BerryDunn, Mike is the executive sponsor of our ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) Task Force.
Prior to joining BerryDunn, Mike managed the auditing and accounting practice of the Manchester, NH, office of a local accounting firm. This was preceded by five years as Director of Finance for a public company with global reach, that specialized in renewable energy and high technology. While there, Mike focused on both short and long-term strategic planning, business and financial development, and contract administration including government and FAR compliance, as well as business planning and modeling of renewable power projects. He also oversaw the financial reporting and operations of several significant international subsidiaries.
