Mary is a leader in BerryDunn’s Community Health Center Practice Area. She provides audit, reimbursement, and operational consulting services to FQHCs. Mary provides best practices related to the increase in Medicare denials, industry trends and new regulations, and an in-depth knowledge of many information systems and their impact on financial reporting.
Working with state Primary Care Associations, Mary delivers an analytical perspective of the financial impact of key operating metrics that predict FQHC profitability to New England CEOs, CFOs, and other stakeholders. These metrics are based on the majority of the FQHCs in each state, and are subsequently applied to each of BerryDunn’s FQHC audits, providing an approach that combines an understanding of FQHC operations with quantitative analysis.
She is a member of the BerryDunn Recovery Advisory Team and has authored several blog posts to guide FQHCs through the COVID-19 outbreak.
