Candace is a Senior Consultant in BerryDunn’s Local Government Practice Group, specializing in technology management. She has more than 20 years of public-sector experience providing IT leadership and project management. She has held positions of progressive responsibility within Hoke County, North Carolina, since 1999. Most recently, she served as the County’s Director of Information Technology. She is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill’s Government Chief Information Officer program, the University of North Carolina at Wilmington’s Project Management program, and Harvard University’s Cybersecurity Risk program, and is a Microsoft Certified IT Professional.
Candace prides herself in her ability to build and maintain strong relationships with team members and stakeholders, and she is skilled in presenting complex information in a clear and concise manner and tailoring her communication style to the needs of the audience.
