Audit and Consulting Seniors and Managers
We currently have opportunities for audit and consulting seniors and managers who have significant experience serving health care, construction or manufacturing clients. Openings are available in our offices in Portland and Bangor, Maine, and Manchester, New Hampshire.
Qualified candidates will have 3 to 5 years of public accounting experience in auditing and consulting, preferably with clients in the health care, construction and/or manufacturing industries. Strong interpersonal, business development and communication skills, and a desire to be challenged in an environment promoting personal and professional growth are essential.
Tax Professionals

Tax Manager
Responsibilities
- Tax advisory services with an emphasis on forward-looking tax planning
- Management responsibility of tax compliance for complex S & C Corporations, Partnerships, and Individuals - including engagement planning, staff supervision and review, review of work papers and tax returns, review of tax provisions on audit and review engagements, research and problem resolution for and resolving technical issues for a wide range of issues
- Staff supervision and coaching
Qualifications
- Strong analytical, communication, and engagement management skills
- Proven ability to develop and sustain excellent client relationships within a team environment
- Well-rounded tax knowledge – a Masters degree in Taxation or LLM is a plus
- Specific experience working with clients in financial services, manufacturing, or exempt organizations is a plus
- Ability to develop staff
- 5+ Years Public Accounting Experience
Tax Senior
Responsibilities
- Preparation of complex S & C Corporation, partnership, and individual tax returns - including staff training and supervision, preparation of tax work papers and tax returns, research related to a wide range of technical issues
- Detailed review of individual and business tax returns
Qualifications
- Strong analytical, communication, and engagement management skills
- Prefers to work as part of a team
- Well-rounded tax knowledge – a Masters degree in Taxation or LLM is a plus
- Specific experience working with clients in financial services, manufacturing, or exempt organizations is a plus
- 2+ years experience in public accounting
Management and Information Technology Consultants
Our Management and Information Technology Consulting Group is seeking the right individuals to join our team and work with clients in New England and nationally. Based out of our Portland, Maine office, assignments in our group may include; project management, business process improvement, assessing technology projects, technology planning and information system design. Bachelors or advanced degree plus three years of experience is preferred. Process improvement and operations experience in the public sector, in health care, and with financial systems is desirable.
Essentials to success include a strong client service attitude and a proven track record of client service in the above areas. We will consider candidates with prior consulting experience in a national or regional consulting firm or with a technology vendor; strong written, interpersonal and presentations skills; and a passion for helping clients to be successful.
